Now candidates will not have to visit different departments. The government has made it clear that all future Technical appointments BTSC through and Non-Technical appointments BSSC Will be done through. The purpose of this decision is to speed up the recruitment process and increase transparency.

New structure of recruitment: Who got what responsibility?

According to the new guidelines issued by the General Administration Department, now all the departments of the state will have to send the details of their vacancies to these two major commissions only:

Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC): * This commission is now for all departments Group-B and Group-C Will recruit on technical posts (like engineer, doctor, lab technician, IT specialist etc.).

The rules for technical posts have been simplified so that the shortage of experts can be overcome quickly.

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC): * The responsibility of Secretariat Assistant, Clerk, Peon and all other non-technical administrative posts will now be completely with BSSC.

There has been a ban on appointments made directly by departments.

Why was this big decision taken?

Till now, many departments used to do recruitment by issuing advertisements at their own level, which often led to problems like court cases and delays in the process. Benefits of the new rule:

Centralized System: If recruited from one place, candidates will not need to fill separate forms.

Time Saving: Commissions will now have a clear calendar, which will reduce delays in examinations and results.

Uniform Standards: The eligibility and selection standards will be the same for all departments.

Expected recruitment on lakhs of posts

After this new order, a large number of advertisements can soon be seen on vacant posts in big departments like Health Department, Education Department, Water Resources, Road Construction and Rural Development Department.
