There is an atmosphere of anger across the country regarding the Kolkata doctor rape and murder case. BJP has called for a Kolkata bandh today. To get justice for the victim in this case, BJP protested against the Bengal Police and Mamata government. On one hand, the CBI is investigating this case and on the other hand, politics is also heating up. The anger of the then President Draupadi Murmu has come to the fore in this case.
The President responded
President Draupadi Murmu has expressed grief over the increasing crimes against women after the rape and murder of a young female doctor in Kolkata. She became angry at this and said that now it has crossed all limits. No one will tolerate crimes against women. I am disappointed and scared. She said that our society needs an honest and fair introspection.
