Patna High Court had granted him conditional bail last Thursday (March 19) in the Dularchand Yadav murder case. Today (23 March): Anant Singh will come out of Beur jail after 2 pm. From here he went straight to his government residence in Patna. ‘1, Mall Road’ Will reach. Crowds of supporters have started gathering to welcome him.

The single bench of Justice Rudra Prakash Mishra has also given some strict instructions while granting bail to Anant Singh:
Protection of witnesses: If Anant Singh or his supporters try to intimidate the family members or witnesses of Dularchand Yadav, his bail will be canceled immediately.
Attendance at hearing: He will have to be present on every court date and cooperate fully in the investigation.
Victory from jail and announcement of ‘retirement’ from politics
Interestingly, Anant Singh won the Mokama assembly elections in November 2025 while he was in jail. Just before his release, Anant Singh, who had come to cast his vote in the Rajya Sabha elections on March 16, had also made a big political blast.
