Earthquake of magnitude 4.0 hits Sikkim
An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter Scale was felt in Sikkim’s Gangtok on Sunday. The quake was reported at 8.39 pm with its epicentre at a depth of 11 km west-southwest of Gangtok, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).
The depth of the quake was 10 km. So far, no reports of any damage have surfaced.
