Lucknow: Eight family members of a newlywed couple who tested COVID-19 positive on 28th June were also found suffering from the same disease on Thursday. The family members who tested positive for the disease have been admitted to Lok Bandhu hospital in Lucknow. The bride had come from Delhi along with her family and the couple got married on June 18.
Dr Ajay Raja, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Lucknow, said: “The list of people involved in the wedding is being prepared and information of other people coming in contact is also being collected so that all of them could be identified and quarantined due to the spread of infection.” Nearly 50 people attended the wedding at a hotel in Gokhale Marg in Lucknow.
