Health Ministry Officials To Brief Opposition About COVID Situation In Presence Of PM Modi

New Delhi: After briefing the former defense ministers on the security situation of the country, the government will answer all the questions of opposition parties about Coronavirus situation.

The entire scenario will be kept in front of the Parliamentary Party Leaders of all Opposition Parties through a presentation. For this, the officials of the Health Ministry will be giving the presentation in the presence of the Prime Minister.

This meeting with the opposition will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday. The meeting will be held at the Parliamentary Annexe building. In this meeting, all floor leaders of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha i.e. leaders of parliamentary parties of all opposition parties will attend.

NDA leaders involved in the union government have also been invited to this meeting. The government will provide details to all the leaders regarding the Coronavirus crisis, from the beginning from the initial outbreak, second wave, and possible third wave.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will be present during the presentation on Coronavirus.

The government seems to be attempting a new approach, trying to take along and satisfy the opposition, familiarising all the parties over the external and internal issues of the country.

Significantly, on July 16, before the start of the monsoon session of Parliament, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had a meeting with former Defense Ministers AK Antony and Sharad Pawar.

According to sources, both the former defense ministers had some doubts and questions regarding the situation in the LAC region. The government decided to hand out the information to both AK Antony and Sharad Pawar. In the presence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, their doubts were cleared by Army Chief Naravane and CDS General Bipin Rawat.
