Colombo: Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant innings of 50 runs in 34 balls that included 5 boundaries and 2 big sixes. The fifty helped India pose a decent total as the death overs did not go as planned for India. Surya Yadav also hit some mind-blowing sweep shots, but one shot stood out in an extraordinary manner. Suryakumar Yadav dragged one ball that was pitched way outside the off-stump to hit it over mid-wicket’s head for a boundary. Udana was the bowler who bowled the ball at a gentle pace; it was a gentle back-of-the-hand delivery by him.

Surya’s crucial innings helped India pose a total of 164 runs. The youngster has played some good innings for India in the ODI series. He continued his good form in the T20I series as well. 

The innings ended for India at 164 runs. Hardik Pandya struggled for his innings of 10 runs in 12 balls. Kishan looked good but wasn’t able to hit any big ones towards the end. 

Nonetheless, its a challenging score on a grassy wicket that is testing batsmen. It was expected that the grass would rule in favour of the batters but it instead helped the bowlers.
