Kabul Blast: Another Explosion Heard At Residential Area Near Airport, Reports Local Media

New Delhi: Local residents heard the sound of a major blast at a residential area in Afghanistan’s capital city Kabul, local media reported on Sunday. The explosion has reportedly taken place near the Kabul airport.
It is not yet confirmed as to how much damage has been caused by this blast. Black smoke was seen near the airport. Earlier on 26 August, there were two serial blasts after Kabul airport in which 170 people were killed.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden was warned that terrorists could once again target Kabul airport in the next 24 to 36 hours.
