He had said in a tweet earlier on April 20 that he has been infected with Covid-19. Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party leader Priyanka Gandhi have already taken the corona vaccine.

The BJP had earlier questioned on many occasions why did Rahul Gandhi not take the corona vaccine.

“Today we want to ask Sonia ji, Rahul ji, and Priyanka Gandhi that all three of you should tell when you took your first and second dose of vaccine or did not take it. Does the Gandhi family believe in the vaccine or not? This question is not only of BJP, but of entire India,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told a press conference on June 16.

Congress has on the other hand alleged that the government has been diverting from issues while accusing the ruling dispensation of mismanagement regarding the corona issue.
