Sonia Gandhi Appoints Navjot Singh Sidhu As President Of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee

Chandigarh: AICC President Sonia Gandhi on Sunday appointed Navjot Singh Sidhu as the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect.
In an official release, the All India Congress Committee said that Congress President has appointed Navjot Singh Sidhu as the president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect.
Sonia Gandhi also appointed four persons as working presidents of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. These include: Sangat Singh Gilzian, Sukhwinder Singh Danny, Pawan Goel and Kuljit Singh Nagra.
“The party appreciates the contributions of outgoing PCC President Sinul Jakhar,” the notice further read.
Meanwhile, Kuljit Singh Nagra has been relieved from his present responsibility as AICC Incharge of Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura.
