Tokyo 2020, Men’s Hockey: When & Where To Watch India Vs Great Britain Quarter-Final In India?

Tokyo: India’s hockey campaign has been a great one so far. The men’s and women’s teams have both qualified for the quarter-finals. The men’s team won it in style by winning four out of their five league matches while the women’s team got lucky as they qualified on the basis of Ireland’s loss in the final match of the pool against Great Britain. 

The men’s team qualified for the knockouts and staged a great comeback after getting bamboozled 1-7 by Australia. India managed to defeat New Zealand, Argentina, Spain and Japan in the pool games. 

India’s men’s hockey team will play the quarter-final against Great Britain on Sunday. The match will be Live Streamed on Sony LIV at 5:30 pm on 1 August 2021. 

India won their last pool game against the hosts – Japan. Goals from Harmanpreet, Gurjant (brace), Nilakanta and Shamsher took India past Japan in men’s hockey. India qualifies for quarter-finals in style by maintaining the no.2 position in the group.
