The Meteorological Department has issued a big warning for the residents of Delhi-NCR. If you are planning to go out in the coming days, do not forget to carry an umbrella. According to the latest estimate of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), continuous rain is going to continue in the capital Delhi and its surrounding areas till March 30. The main reason for this sudden change in the weather is a new Western Disturbance that became active in North-West India on March 28. The department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ for March 29 and advised citizens to remain alert.

The fierce form will be visible on March 29: there will be heavy rain with lightning

Meteorologists say that March 29 can be very challenging for Delhi-NCR. On that day, there will be a cloud of dark clouds in the sky and there is a possibility of several rounds of rain along with thunder and lightning. The most worrying thing is the speed of the winds, which can reach up to 50 kilometers per hour. Due to this strong storm and rain, road traffic and power supply may also be affected.

Fall in temperature: Will provide relief from heat

The mercury was rising in Delhi for the last few days, but now it will decline due to rain. On March 26, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 34.8 degrees, 3.3 degrees above normal. At the same time, in areas like Mungeshpur the minimum temperature had reached 23.7 degrees. However, due to the effect of continuous rain till March 30, the maximum temperature will drop by 2 degrees, which is expected to provide a big relief to the people from the sultry heat.

Condition of Greater Noida and Ghaziabad: How will be the weather in your city?

Not only Delhi, but also the weather conditions in other cities of NCR have deteriorated.

Greater Noida: There is a possibility of light rain here on March 27 and the temperature will be around 33 degrees.

Ghaziabad: Here also the minimum temperature is expected to be 19 degrees with light drizzle on March 27.

According to the Meteorological Department, humidity in these areas will be between 40% to 70%, due to which a slight coolness may be felt in the morning and evening.

Mood changed from Delhi to Patna: Alert in other parts of the country also

This change in weather is not limited to Delhi only. Clouds have encamped in the sky from North India to Eastern India, i.e. from Patna to Kolkata. Moderate rain with strong winds is being recorded in many states. This type of weather in the month of March also remains a matter of concern for Rabi crops. Experts believe that the drop in temperature due to this unseasonal rain may last till the beginning of April.
