New Delhi: Indian Railways is considered the most comfortable and affordable way to travel. Indian Railways is also taking important steps to improve passenger service. There is a possibility that forcibly recovery for tickets will stop. Because, due to these changes, railway agents will not be able to book Tatkal tickets. The purpose of this rule is to bring more transparency and equality in the Railway’s Tatkal ticket booking process.
Some changes made by Indian Railways will now be applicable from 15 April 2025. According to this, railway agents will not be able to book Tatkal tickets. Passengers will have to use the official website or mobile app of the railway to book Tatkal tickets. These changes made by the Railways will bring more transparency and equality in the Tatkal ticket booking process of the railway. Now it is expected that passengers will get equal opportunity to get tickets.
Actual passengers will be allowed to travel.
From the revised booking hours to the tightening of agent restrictions, the aim of the new rules is to reduce congestion and allow real passengers to travel. Now this rule will be applicable from 15 April 2025. Indian Railways has changed the rules of Tatkal tickets. Due to these changes, railway agents will not be able to book Tatkal tickets.

60 major railway stations of the country are always crowded. Now permanent waiting rooms will be built outside these stations. Passengers will be allowed to go to the platform only when their train is coming. This will reduce the congestion at the station and it will be easy for the passengers to move. The test of this scheme has started at New Delhi, Anand Vihar, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Patna stations.
