Railways has taken such a revolutionary step, which will change the entire picture of Sant Kabirnagar, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti and Bahraich districts.
The most difficult task of acquiring land for the 240 km long new railway line passing through these 5 districts has been completed, and now the work of running trains on it is going to speed up soon.
What is this ‘Dream Rail Line’ project?
This is not an ordinary railway line, but a mega-project connecting Khalilabad to Bahraich, which will prove to be a ‘shortcut’ of development for these backward areas.
- Overall Length: 240.26 kilometers
- Total Cost: approximately Rs 5000 crore
- What will become: 32 stations, 12 minor halt stations, and 4 major junctions. Brand new stations will be built in many areas like Bhinga, Ikauna and Utraula.
Railway officials say that this entire project by 2026 can be completed.
Who are those 5 lucky districts?
- Sant Kabir Nagar: This development journey will start from Khalilabad here.
- Siddharthnagar: Now Lucknow-Delhi will not be far for the people living in areas like Dumariyaganj.
- Balrampur: The business and employment here will get new wings.
- Shravasti: Now trains will reach this holy land of Lord Buddha, which will bring lakhs of devotees from India and abroad.
- Bahraich: This will be the last station on this line and will emerge as a major rail hub.
Hundreds of villages in these districts will hear the sound of train whistle for the first time!
This is not just a train, but a ‘magic wand’, how will it change lives?
- Time Half, Progress Double: The journey which used to take hours earlier, will now be completed in minutes.
- Farmers’ bat-bat: Farmers will be able to send their vegetables, fruits and grains directly to the markets of big cities, due to which they will get double the price.
- Thousands of new jobs: From laying the line to building the station, thousands of laborers and local people will get work.
- Tourism will get wings: It will be easy to reach Buddhist pilgrimage sites like Shravasti, due to which hotels and small businesses will increase here.
- Business will be easy: Sending goods from one place to another will become cheaper and faster, which will lead to new industries.
Overall, this railway line is not just a network of tracks, but a path to hope, progress and a better tomorrow for these five districts.
