News India Live, Digital Desk: If you are also a parent, then this news will bring a relaxed smile on your face. Often when we go to a big private school to get our child admitted, we are shown shiny buildings, AC classrooms and big promises. But are we ever told how much qualification the teacher who is going to teach Physics or Maths to our child has? Is the huge amount that the school is taking from you in the name of fees, being utilized properly?

The answers to these questions were often vague. but now CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) He has clearly said that this will not work anymore.”

CBSE has issued a strict order for all its schools, according to which now schools will have to maintain ‘transparency’. No information will remain secret anymore.

What is the new order?

CBSE has asked all affiliated schools to post the same on their website. ‘Mandatory Public Disclosure’ That means a section of mandatory public information will have to be created. Not just ceremonial information, but the horoscope of the school will have to be included in it.

The board says that schools should provide a link on the homepage of their website, where parents can get complete details of the school as soon as they click on it. And this is not just a suggestion, but a Order Is.

Teachers’ secrets will also be exposed

The biggest thing about this order which is in favor of parents is that qualifications of teachers. Many times, to save money, schools hire less qualified teachers and charge the full fees. Now schools will have to clearly write the name of each of their teachers, their educational qualification (Degree/Qualification) and experience on the website.

So that you can check whether the teacher who is teaching science to your child has the right degree in science or not. This step will bring a huge change in improving the quality of education.

Fees and facilities will also have to be accounted for

Not just teachers, schools will now also have to make public that:

  • How much money do they charge as fees (fee structure)?
  • What kind of infrastructure do they have (actually have labs and libraries or not).
  • What are the security arrangements in the school?
  • Whether there are certificates of water and sanitation or not.

Parents will no longer have to wander

Earlier, for small information, parents had to make rounds of the school reception and even there many times they did not get the correct answer. Now you don’t need to go anywhere. Just open the school website and see everything. CBSE believes that this will not only reduce corruption, but parents will also be able to take a right and informed decision.

So next time you visit the school, ask them directly “Are the details on your website updated, right?” Because now it is your right.
