Why did these star players withdraw?

Now you must be thinking that brother, where are these players going after leaving such a big match of Ranji Trophy? Is there any injury? No, there is nothing to worry about.

Actually, the reason is very big and “national”. According to reports, BCCI and the team management have deliberately decided to rest these three players from this match. The biggest reason for this is- Difficult tour of Australia (Border-Gavaskar Trophy).

We all know that going and playing in Australia is no laughing matter. Team India wants our key players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz to stay fresh before that big tour. It is the priority of the board to protect them from any kind of injury and keep them mentally fresh. He also has to leave for Australia soon, hence he has been given leave from this home match.

What will be the impact on Mumbai team?

It is obvious that when an opener like Jaiswal and a middle order don like Sarfaraz are not in the team, it makes a difference to the team. Mumbai team has always been strong, but these stalwarts will definitely be missed against Delhi.

On the other hand, the Delhi team might have heaved a sigh of relief, because the form Yashasvi and Sarfaraz are in, they have the power to single-handedly turn the match.

New boys have a chance

Every coin has two sides. The absence of these stars may reduce the shine of the match a bit, but it is like icing on the cake for those new young players who were sitting on the bench waiting for their turn. Who knows, we might get a new Jaiswal from this match?

So friends, keep an eye on this match starting from 13th. There may not be big names, but the heat in the clash between Mumbai and Delhi will not reduce!
