Moradabad, 13 August (HS). A taxi driver committed suicide by hanging himself in the Majhola police station area of ​​the city on Tuesday. The police have sent the body of the deceased taxi driver for postmortem. The taxi driver committed suicide after getting depressed due to a dispute with his wife.

Pramod (35), a resident of Ekta Colony in Thana Majhola area, was a taxi driver. He has a wife, a son and a daughter. Due to a personal dispute, his wife is currently staying at her parents' house with the children. When Chandrapal Saini returned home on Tuesday afternoon, the door of Pramod's room was locked from inside. When he peeped inside through the window, he found Pramod's body hanging from a noose in the room.

On receiving the information, Civil Lines' Area Officer Arpit Kapoor and police station in-charge KK Verma reached the spot and called the forensic team. The CO said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. The deceased's father says that Pramod was suffering from depression due to a dispute with his wife. That is why he took this step.
