Gorakhpur, 21 August (HS). Dalit organisations are opposing the Supreme Court's decision of 1 August regarding sub-classification in the Schedule of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. In protest against this, Samajwadi Party supported the Bharat Bandh on 21 August along with Dalit organisations and directed its workers to participate in the Bharat Bandh in large numbers.
In Gorakhpur, Samajwadi Party has supported this Bharat Bandh, their organization will also participate in large numbers. They have also appealed to the general public to participate in this Bharat Bandh peacefully, while District President of Samajwadi Party Brijesh Gautam said that SP has also sought people's support for the success of Bharat Bandh. He said that the people of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe are very hurt by the decision of the Supreme Court. This decision is a decision to divide brothers.
