The release date of the much awaited film ‘Daku’ starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur has been extended. Earlier reports were coming that the film has been stopped due to huge work of post-production and visual effects (VFX) so that there is no compromise with the quality. However, now new reports suggest that the reason for this delay is something else.
Actually, actor Adivi Sesh recently got injured in his leg during a shooting. There are some high-intensity action sequences in the film, for which it is very important for Adivi Sesh to be completely fit. Giving priority to both his safety and the quality of the film, the producers have decided that they will wait until Adivi makes a full recovery.
Directed by director Sheniel Dev, this film is the first collaboration of Adivi Sesh and Mrinal Thakur. ‘Daku’ is a powerful revenge drama in which a unique love story is also woven. The film was originally planned to be released in Christmas 2025, but now it may be postponed to 2026. It is reported that its official announcement will be made soon.
Let us tell you that this film will be released in Telugu as well as Hindi. Apart from this, some old reports had revealed that Shruti Haasan was earlier a part of the project, but later she left the film due to work environment, after which Mrunal Thakur replaced her. Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will also be seen in the important role of an Inspector Swami in the film.
This may be a bit disappointing news for Adivi Sesh fans, but it is worth the wait for a great and safe movie experience.
