Afghans Tie Themselves To Aircraft Wheels In Attempt To Flee Kabul, Fall To Death Mid-Air

New Delhi: An unrest and chaos resides across Afghanistan with the Taliban completing the capture of capital Kabul and president Ashraf Ghani fleeing the country amid turmoil. The devastating situation has spread a panic among nationals who now wish to flee the country and displace themselves to a safer place.

Shocking visuals have surfaced showing a huge crowd jostling to get into an aircraft at Kabul airport. An unbelievable video splashing TV screens shook the globe as people were spotted falling to death mid-air after they attempted to flee by allegedly tying themselves to the wheels of aircraft.

According to media reports, two people who had allegedly tied themselves to the wheels of an aircraft to escape from Kabul fell down. The viral video shows an aircraft flying over Kabul. Two people could be seen dropping from the aircraft as it advanced.

Earlier today, at least five people were killed and several others were injured during stamped like situation at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. The incident took place when hundreds of people tried to forcibly enter planes leaving the Afghanistan capital.

As per the latest inputs, it was announced that Afghanistan closed its airspace for all the commercial flights. According to TOLONews, the air travel is suspended at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.

Due to this, the evacuation process designed by India has been affected as commercial flights will be on a halt. The Air India flight which was to take off at 12.30 PM IST on Monday cannot operate in Kabul due to airspace shutdown.
