Case filed for promoting betting app on Vijay Devarkonda, Rana Daggubati

Mumbai: Telangana police have registered seven cases against twenty -five famous celebrities including Vijay Devarkonda, Prakash Raj and Rana Daggubati for promoting illegal betting apps and misleading the public.

In the complaint lodged by the police, Vijay Devarkonda, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Nidhi Aggarwal, Manchu Laxmi and others have been accused of promoting betting apps.

In this complaint, Rana Daggubati has been made accused number one and Prakash Raj has been made accused number two. Other celebrities including Vijay Devarakonda have been accused of promoting various apps. Police have indicated that they can arrest more celebrities to promote these apps.

Earlier, cases were registered against 11 film personalities and social media affected, many of which publicly apologized and admitted their involvement in promoting betting platforms. He also claimed that at that time he was not aware of the negative consequences of this propaganda.
