News India Live, Digital Desk: Do you remember ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’? That film which, despite being released on OTT, had made a place in people’s hearts like cinema halls. If you were also a fan of that film and thought, “Man, Diljit and Imtiaz Ali should work together again,” then there is great news for you.
Yes, Punjabi superstar and global icon Diljit Dosanjh has completed the shooting of Imtiaz Ali’s next film. As soon as this news came, there was an uproar among the fans, because when these two meet, it is not just acting but magic that happens on the screen.
Pictures told the story
Recently, Diljit has shared some pictures on his social media, which have created a stir on the internet. In these photos he is seen with director Imtiaz Ali. The pictures clearly show that the shooting of the film has ended (Wrap Up) and the entire team is in a celebratory mood. Although the name of the film has not been revealed yet (Untitled Project), but Diljit’s style in the pictures suggests that something very ‘different’ and ‘desi’ is brewing.
After Chamkila, expectations are sky high
The simplicity and depth with which Diljit worked in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ had silenced the critics. Imtiaz Ali is the magician of stories and Diljeet is the king of emotions. In such a situation, the audience has high expectations from this new and ‘unnamed’ film.
Set environment and ‘vibe’
In the pictures shared by Diljit, the atmosphere of the set looks very relaxed. In one picture, he is seen smiling with Imtiaz Ali, as if two old friends are meeting after some big success. This chemistry shows that the better their off-screen bonding is, the better the on-screen film is going to be.
What will be the story?
At present everyone has maintained silence regarding the story. Neither Imtiaz nor Diljit have given any clue as to what the film is about. But Imtiaz Ali has a habit that whenever he comes, he brings such a story of love and life which goes straight to the soul.
Fans are already speculating whether this is a musical drama again or a unique love story? Well, whatever the case may be, the inclusion of Diljit Dosanjh guarantees that there will be no dearth of entertainment and emotion.
