In early November, Mumbai Police busted a major drug scam through its Anti-Narcotics Cell. The investigation has made many shocking revelations, which also include the involvement of many famous film stars.
This list includes Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddharth Kapoor and social media influencer Ori. In connection with the investigation of this Rs 250 crore Mephedrone drug case, Mumbai Police has called Siddharth Kapoor for questioning on Tuesday, November 25.
Recently, after the recovery of Mephedrone, this matter has again come into limelight. The arrested accused has given many important information during interrogation. Anti Narcotics Cell says that the accused has revealed the involvement of some famous personalities of the film industry. Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddharth and some others will also be rigorously interrogated.
Ori was also summoned
Popular social media influencer Ori has also been summoned by the Anti-Narcotics Cell on November 26. Earlier, the first summons was sent to him on November 20, but Ori had asked for a new date. Now, the ANC has sent him a second summons with a changed date for questioning.
What is this whole matter?
In this case, ANC has arrested an accused named Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh. According to reports, the accused used to organize grand and private parties for celebrities. This whole matter came to light in March last year, when Mephedrone worth Rs 252 crore was seized in Sangli district of Western Maharashtra. The main accused in this case was caught in India after being extradited from Dubai.
