Mumbai: Neil Nitin Mukesh, grandson of famous playback singer Mukesh, has expressed his desire to make a biopic of his grandfather in an interview. In this interview, Neil also admitted that he was hesitant to play the role of his grandfather. He said that instead of playing his character, I should pay more attention to the creation of this story. I want his life story to be told correctly. Neil believes that his grandfather’s story should reach today’s generation as it is an inspirational journey of a common man who has realized his dreams. Neil told that he has been working on the script of this film for the last two years.
Popular Mukesh died in 1976, when Neil was only five years old. Neil says, “I don’t have much memories of my grandfather, but my grandmother and father Nitin Mukesh has told me many stories about him.” Neil dreams of looking at his grandfather’s story on the big screen.
