Global streaming giant Amazon Prime Video has officially announced that the eight-episode Hindi crime series will premiere worldwide on October 23, 2026. The show will be available to stream exclusively for Prime subscribers across India and in more than 240 countries and territories globally, marking one of the platform’s major original Indian fall releases.

Set against the gritty backdrop of early-2000s Mumbai, Chaar Yaar chronicles the journey of four middle-class friends navigating the harsh realities of urban life, unemployment, and systemic barriers. Driven by desperation and rapid ambition to escape financial constraints, the tight-knit quartet gradually gets sucked into the lethal vortex of the Mumbai underworld. What starts as a desperate bid for quick cash spirals into a high-stakes battle for survival, testing their loyalty, morals, and brotherhood as dangerous crime syndicates and law enforcement close in around them.
