The 38-year-old marriage of Bollywood’s ‘Hero No. 1’ Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja is now going through a difficult phase. There are reports that the rift between the two has increased so much that the matter has reached the point of divorce. Recently, Sunita, while expressing her pain in an interview, has made many serious allegations against Govinda, due to which her fans are surprised.

According to reports, Sunita Ahuja had filed for divorce in Bandra Family Court in December 2024. In his petition, he has made serious allegations against Govinda like cruelty, adultery and abandoning the family.
Sunita has recently revealed that Govinda spends lakhs of rupees on religious worship and rituals, but does not help her with household expenses or help her financially. He also says that people around Govinda give him wrong advice and he listens only to those who are not his real well-wishers. Sunita also told that she was present in every court hearing, but Govinda did not come to the counseling sessions and hearings many times.

Son Yashvardhan had shared pictures of the puja held at home some time ago, which shows that he wants to maintain the unity of the family even in these difficult times. At the same time, daughter Tina Ahuja had termed the news of divorce as a rumor and appealed to the people not to spread wrong things.

On the other hand, Govinda’s manager has dismissed the news of divorce calling it “old”. He has said that this matter is six-seven months old and now everything is getting resolved. He also claimed that the entire family will soon celebrate the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi together.
