Actually Shahrukh Khan’s grandmother was Kashmiri. This is the reason why the actor has a deep attachment to that place. But Shah Rukh has not seen that Kashmir till date. The reason behind this was once told by the actor on the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The actor said that due to his father’s promise, he has not been able to see the beauty of Kashmir till date.

Shah Rukh said, “My father had asked me to go to three places in life – Istanbul, Rome and Kashmir.” You can see two other places without me, but Kashmir you will not be able to see without me, I will show you myself.

The actor said that what his father said has gone home in his heart. Then suddenly the actor’s father died. It has been many years since this happened. But till date the actor never went to Kashmir.

Let us tell you that Shah Rukh Khan shared a post on the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In which the actor said, “This incident in Pahalgam is an inhuman act that defines betrayal.” Currently anger cannot be expressed or controlled in words.

The actor further wrote, ‘We should unite at this time.’ My prayers and deep condolences are with bereaved families. We are united to demand justice for this heinous crime as a nation.
