Sitaare Zameen Par: Aamir Khan created history in IPL, Ravi Kishan’s Bhojpuri commentary, stars brought to the ground

News India Live, Digital Desk: Aamir Khan This month is fully prepared to make a comeback to the silver screen with his film ‘Stars Zameen Par’. This is the much awaited spiritual sequel to his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. This upcoming film has already created a wave of enthusiasm in the whole country, as its trailer is full of love, laughter and happiness. Along with touching new dimensions of expectations, now promotions are in full swing.

Under a unique promotional strategy, Aamir Khan was recently seen in an IPL match, showing the world of cricket and cinema together. Giving a special gift for fans, Aamir will make a presence adorned with stars in the IPL 2025 finale. Increasing the discussion further, he will make this program more attractive by making live commentary in both Hindi and Bhojpuri during the much awaited match to be held this evening.

Aamir, who has earlier shown his Bhojpuri speaking art on screen, will be involved in the commentary box with actor-royal Ravi Kishan. In a recently shared video by former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh and ten budding actors of the film were seen enjoying a lively cricket match, which gave fans a glimpse of the film’s lively energy. Aamir Khan Productions proudly presents 10 emerging stars: Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedanta Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.

Directed by RS Prasanna – who first directed Shubh Mangal Savdhan – Stars reflects a great cooperation with Aamir Khan products on the ground. The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in the lead roles, as well as 10 new actors.

The music is composed by the great trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and the song is written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The screenplay is written by Divya Nidhi Sharma. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, while B.B. Srinivasa Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka are co-producers.

Stars will be released on the land on June 20, 2025 in theaters across the country.
