The glittering trophy of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ finally went to popular TV actor Gaurav Khanna. Gaurav emerged victorious in the grand finale of this three-month long spicy show, leaving behind strong contestants like Farhana Bhatt, Tanya Mittal and Amaal Malik. While his fans are celebrating after the victory, a section of the social media is trolling him by calling him a ‘fixed winner’. Now Gaurav Khanna has broken his silence on all these allegations for the first time.
Gave a befitting reply to trollers
In his first interview after the victory, Gaurav responded boldly when he was called ‘fake’ and ‘fixed winner’. He said, “Look, those who say all this have their own allegations, and we don’t need to pay attention to them. In today’s social media era, everyone has become a keyboard warrior. I don’t think I need to give them any clarification.”
Gaurav further said, “It doesn’t matter if some people don’t like me. It doesn’t matter. I am not a God-sent gift that everyone likes me. But I am happy that most of the people are with me and like me.”
“Why should I pay attention to 2 people who don’t like me?”
Gaurav made it clear that he does not want to focus on negativity. He said, “If 8 out of 10 people like me and only 2 people hate me, then why should I waste my focus on those 2 people? I don’t care about any tag. I played the game the way I wanted to play and I won the way I wanted to win.”
Gaurav became rich along with the trophy
Along with the trophy of ‘Bigg Boss 19’, Gaurav Khanna also received prize money of Rs 50 lakh. But do you know that his total earnings are much more than this? According to media reports, Gaurav was one of the most expensive contestants of this season. He used to get Rs 17.5 lakh every week for being on the show. He spent 15 weeks in the show, which means he earned around Rs 2.62 crore from fees alone. Including prize money, his total earnings exceed Rs 3 crore.
Whatever be the victory, Gaurav Khanna has not only won the trophy but also a huge amount of money, and currently he is enjoying his wonderful victory.
