News India Live, Digital Desk: Theft in actress’ House in Mumbai: A big incident of theft has taken place in the house of actress Kashish Kapoor, who has appeared in Bigg Boss OTT 2. The shocking thing is that the allegation of this theft is on her own domestic maid, who stole a full 4 lakh rupees from her house and then escaped. Kashish is very upset after this incident and has lodged a complaint with Versova police station in Mumbai. What is the whole matter? According to the information received, Kashish Kapoor recently hired a domestic assistant named ‘Pooja’. Working on Pooja, it was not even a month. On Wednesday, Kashish was surprised when she opened her vault and cupboard. All the money kept inside was missing. In total, 4 lakh rupees were found missing. When he found Pooja at home, he was not found either. His phone was also coming off, which made it clear that he had committed theft. Police action continues: Kashish Kapoor could not believe the one he trusted, he cheated him. He has lodged a complaint of theft at Versova police station without delay. The police have registered an FIR under the related sections of the IPC and the accused has started searching for the maid. The police are trying to seize the CCTV footage and find out its bases. Such cases growing in the industry: This is not the first case when such a theft incident has occurred from a celebrity house, which includes a member or staff of the house. Even before this, many TV and Bollywood actors have been cheated by their staff. The incident has once again questioned the seriousness of background verification (lateral investigation) before hiring domestic assistants between celebrities and common people. Kashish Kapoor hopes that the police will catch the thief as soon as possible and will get his money back.
