‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame Sachin Tyagi keeps the fast of Ramadan, told why this tradition was adopted

The holy month of Ramadan is going on, and as Eid is approaching, people are celebrating this special time with full devotion and faith. Meanwhile, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame actor Sachin Tyagi has revealed that he also keeps Ramadan fast for 30 days.

The reason behind this is none other than his wife and famous actress Rakshanda Khan. Sachin not only adopted the fast of Ramadan, but also read the Hadith to know about Islam.

In an interview to Tele Masala, Sachin Tyagi shared the experience of fasting in Ramadan.

• He told that it is not easy to stay without water and food all day in the hot weather of Mumbai.

• But when he adopted it from the heart, it became a spiritual and positive experience for him.

Sachin said-
“Earlier I was very surprised how someone could keep the whole 30 days fast. But when all this started happening in my house, it was a new experience for me. Gradually I started doing it too. Now it has not just a tradition, but a part of a belief and love.”

Sachin Tyagi read Hadith, tried to understand Islam

When Sachin Tyagi was asked his views about Islam, he told that he read the Hadith to understand the religion of Islam.

• Sachin told,
  “When I met Rakshanda, I wanted to know what is the religion of Islam. I read the hadith and tried to read about 1200-1400 points out of its 3000 points.”

• He further said that the basics of every religion are the same and all humans are trying to become good and follow the path of truth.

He said-
“The purpose of every religion is to make a person good. No religion says that there are many Gods, all talk about the same God. Just, the way to get it can be different.”

Sachin Tyagi is a part of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ since 2016 and his character has got a lot of love from the audience.
