From today, the circle rate has increased by 5 to 10 percent. However, no change has been made in the circle rate of land in the Municipal Corporation area.

AIG Stamp Anil Kumar Singh told on Monday that as per the instructions of the District Magistrate, the circle rate of the urban area has been kept the same as last year. In the rural area, the circle rate has been increased from today as per various routes. The new circle rate will be applicable from September 1. The district administration had prepared a proposal to increase the circle rate by about 25 percent in the urban area as compared to last year. 42 objections were received from the common people in this matter. After resolving the objections, the DM did not approve the setting of circle rate in the Municipal Corporation area. Due to the increase in circle rate in the rural area, buying land would become costly.
