Iran’s top leadership has held high-level talks with China and discussed in detail the ‘dangerous’ strategies of Washington and Tel Aviv. Iran has clearly sought China’s help in intervening and curbing the growing US-Israeli influence in the region. Iran alleges that Tel Aviv (Israel) is not only defending itself, but is targeting Iran’s sovereignty at the instigation of Washington. Iran warned China that if this ‘alliance’ was not stopped, China’s own interests in the Gulf region’s energy resources and maritime trade routes (such as the Strait of Hormuz) could be at risk.
