News India Live, Digital Desk: Iran has made a big diplomatic move amid the ongoing bloody conflict with Israel in the Middle East and America’s tough stance. Iran’s top leadership has held high-level talks with China and discussed in detail the ‘dangerous’ strategies of Washington and Tel Aviv. Iran has clearly sought China’s help in intervening and curbing the growing US-Israeli influence in the region. This meeting has indicated the emergence of a new ‘power block’ in global politics, which can decide the direction of war in the coming days.
Raw sketch of ‘dangerous intentions’ of America and Israel
According to Iranian Foreign Ministry sources, in this meeting held in Beijing, Iran has presented evidence to China which shows that America and Israel are planning together to destabilize the entire region. Iran alleges that Tel Aviv (Israel) is not only defending itself, but is targeting Iran’s sovereignty at the instigation of Washington. Iran warned China that if this ‘alliance’ was not stopped, China’s own interests in the Gulf region’s energy resources and maritime trade routes (such as the Strait of Hormuz) could be at risk.
China’s ‘silence’ and Iran’s expectations
The eyes of the whole world are now on China’s next step. Will China provide only verbal support or will it also provide military and technical assistance to Iran? Defense experts believe that instead of jumping directly into this war, China can use its ’25-year strategic agreement’ with Iran to provide economic and diplomatic cover. Iran wants China to be more vocal against America and Israel in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), so that the international pressure on Tehran can be reduced.
Danger looming on India and global oil market
This closeness of Iran and China has increased the concern of all those countries including India which depend on the Middle East for energy. If China actively takes Iran’s side, this conflict could turn into a ‘Cold War’-like situation. This will create uncertainty in crude oil prices and the supply chain may be completely disrupted. At present, Washington is also keeping a close eye on this meeting and the White House has indicated that it will not tolerate any attempt by any country to increase Iran’s ‘combat capabilities’.
