According to eyewitnesses, this accident happened near Rev-3 Mall at around 3:15 pm. Shivam Mishra’s uncontrolled Lamborghini first hit a Bullet rider hard from behind. The collision was so severe that three people riding on the Bullet jumped about 10 feet in the air and fell away. Even after this the nobleman did not stop the car and moved ahead, trampling the Bullet. The car then hit an auto-rickshaw and a parked motorcycle.

Car collides with divider and pillar while trying to escape

After committing the accident, the accused tried to flee from the spot, but the speeding car collided directly with the divider. After this the car dragged an electric pole for a long distance and then stopped. During this time three other pedestrians were also injured. As soon as the car stopped, the local people surrounded it from all sides.

Misbehavior of bouncers and huge ruckus in the police station

The personal bouncers of the accused, who reached the spot after the accident, behaved aggressively with the injured victims and the local people, due to which the tension reached its peak. When the police took the accused and the damaged car to Gwaltoli police station, the bouncers there also misbehaved with the victims. Angered by this, people surrounded the police station and created a ruckus. The police somehow handled the situation and confiscated the damaged Lamborghini.

Police action: Accused admitted to hospital

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Atul Kumar Srivastava said that accused Shivam Mishra and other injured have been admitted to a private hospital. Police have started the process of registering a case against the accused under relevant sections. Officials say that strict legal action will be taken on the basis of CCTV footage and statements of eyewitnesses.
