In the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC), Pakistan once again faced embarrassment when one of its proposals against India were stopped by three major Muslim countries. The incident took place during a meeting of the OIC Parliamentary Association held in Jakarta, where Pakistan tried to criticize India on the Kashmir issue.
Indonesia, which was the host country of this meeting, strongly opposed Pakistan’s anti -India campaign with Egypt and Bahrain. Due to the intervention of these countries, Pakistan could not succeed in its plans and had to soften the language of its proposed draft.
