An incident has come to light from Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, which is raising a big question mark on love and marriage happening on social media. Here a person, whom she had made her life partner with great expectations three months ago, cheated him and ran away after threatening to kill him.

This case pertains to Mohalla Raizadgan of Kandhla town of Shamli. A person named Gautam living here has narrated his sad story to the police. Gautam alleges that his wife has run away with all the valuable jewellery, clothes and cash kept in the house.

How did this ‘deceitful’ love story begin?

Victim Gautam told that he and Manju (wife) got acquainted on a social media site. First they became friends, then this friendship turned into love. After this, both of them went against the wishes of their family and got married in court and started living together.

Gautam told that Manju is originally from Bihar and both of them got married about three months ago.

An excuse to go to my parents’ house and then…

Everything went well for some time after the marriage. A few days ago, Manju told Gautam that she was going to her parents’ house for a few days. Gautam happily sent her away, but little did he know that she would never return.

When several days passed and Manju did not return, Gautam called her. But what happened on the phone made the ground slip from under Gautam’s feet.

“If you call again, I will kill you!”
According to Gautam, whenever he calls his wife Manju, she threatens to kill him. Manju has clearly said that she will not come back now and forget him. Gautam alleges that his wife took all the valuable jewelery and cash with her while leaving the house.
