Often we see that some people work hard day and night, sweat, but still success keeps running away from them. On the other hand, some people do their work peacefully and win. Have you ever wondered why this happens?
The great strategist Acharya Chanakya believed that ‘hard work’ is only a part of achieving success, not the whole story. If you are also one of those people who keep telling everyone about their plans, then stop! You may be inadvertently shooting yourself in the foot.
Today we are going to tell you the ‘success formula’ of Chanakya Niti which will make you stand apart from the crowd.
1. Keep your dreams away from prying eyes (Privacy)
Chanakya’s statement was very simple- “Just like you have to cover a ripe fruit to keep it safe so that birds don’t spoil it, similarly keep your plans hidden from the world.”
When you tell everyone “I’m going to do this” before you even start your work, two things happen:
- First: People’s negative words and opinions confuse you.
- Second: If you fail by mistake, the same people make fun of you.
Therefore, until the results are at hand, keep your mouth shut and do the work ‘underground’.
2. Not just hard work, right strategy is needed
The wall does not move by pushing; proper tools are required for that. Chanakya says that one does not become a king just by sweating. You have to use ‘Vivek’ (intellect). It’s good to work hard, but Smart Work It is even more important than that. It is not enough to just work from the time you wake up in the morning till you go to sleep at night, it is also important to see whether that work is having an impact or not.
3. Learn from past mistakes, don’t cry
A successful person is not the one who never makes mistakes, but the one who analyzes his past defeats. If you failed last time, then sit back and think about what went wrong? Change your strategy, but not your goal. Chanakya says that it is foolish to make the same mistake again and again, but it is wise to correct the mistake and move ahead.
4. Stay away from free advice
When you do something new, 10 people come to give 10 types of advice. Most of these things are negative which can bring your moral down. Chanakya’s lesson is that keep your goals so private that no outsider gets a chance to impose his opinion on it. Distance from negative people is the first step to success.
