Over three days, senior diplomats and secretariat envoys from member nations—including China, Russia, Iran, and Central Asian republics—are charting the itinerary for upcoming ministerial conclaves, technical working groups, and security dialogues. Despite persistent geopolitical friction and an absence of structured bilateral dialogue between New Delhi and Islamabad, both nations continue to compartmentalize contentious bilateral issues, honoring the SCO Charter’s mandate to keep regional frameworks isolated from interstate disputes.
India Pushes Firm Stance on Counter-Terrorism and Territorial Sovereignty
Throughout the discussions, New Delhi is maintaining an uncompromising posture regarding regional security and strategic infrastructure.
