Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) Regional President Junaid Akbar has accused the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz Sharif-S) of being unaware of the political stress prevailing in the country. In an interview to a local TV channel, he criticized the PMLN -led government and said that the government considers the opposition’s desire to negotiate a weakness.

Former Prime Minister and Founder of PTI, President Imran Khan, has been held responsible for the May 9, 2023 riots and other allegations and is currently imprisoned in Pakistan’s most difficult jail. Since his party is waging war against the government, unrest is spreading throughout the country. In such cases, Shahbaz Sharif’s government showed preparations to hold a conversation first, but later retreated from the conversation that PTI was spreading unrest in the country. Also, senior party leaders including Imran Khan have not shown any desire to leave the party. PTI on the other hand is ready for dialogue. However, the coalition government led by Shahwaz Sharif (MLN) has not responded to the talks.

It is obvious that Imran Khan, the supreme leader of his own party, has still been kept alone in the prison of affiralism. Other leaders are also in various jails. There is resentment among people about unemployment and inflation. There is a huge fire in the country. In such a situation, reporters asked Junaid Akbar that despite all your efforts, if the government is not ready for talks, will you take to the road? Then Akbar’s answer was yes! Surely there is no other solution.

In short, Pakistan is learning about dormant volcanoes. Observers say what happens there, nothing can be said.
